One: You didn’t think it would work.
One of the basics of manifestation is that you have to give the Universe room to work.
If you don’t believe a vision board will work for you, then the Universe can’t override your free will.
When you’re making your manifestation board, AT THE VERY LEAST give it a “let’s see if this will work” try.
After all, what is the point of making one if you don’t have even a tiny bit of hope that it will work?
Two: You weren’t truthful about what you wanted.
If you made a vision board and put things on it that you THINK you should want, but that you actually don’t want, then it won’t work.
You have to be honest about what you really want!
If you are afraid someone will see your vision board, put it somewhere no one will see it – even under your bed or between the mattress if you have to.
But be truthful about what you REALLY want.
You aren’t fooling the Universe, but you definitely aren’t going to get what you put on your vision board if you don’t really want it.
Three: You weren’t specific enough.
Manifestation CAN work when you just feel good, but if you aren’t specific when putting things on your vision board, then how will you know if it worked or not?
Be as specific as possible – don’t just put “feel good” quotes or pictures unless you’re just trying to manifest a vibration and not something specific.
For example, if you want to travel to Paris, put pictures of Paris on your board!
Don’t just put the word “travel” because you might end up manifesting a trip to somewhere you weren’t intending to go.
Four: You aren’t giving it enough energy.
While some people can “set it and forget it” that’s not true for all of us.
One of the key aspects of manifestation is desire.
Desire concentrates energy and magnetizes your vibration, making it easier to receive what you want.
If your vision board doesn’t seem to be working, you might not be giving it enough energy to pull what you want into being.
Set aside a time every week or every few weeks to look at your vision board and really feel the feelings of getting what you want.
Imagine yourself in each of the pictures you put on your board.
You could even say some affirmations to help speak your vision board into being!
Five: You’re not updating it enough.
Goals, wishes, and desires change over time.
It’s important to update your vision board often and make sure you still want everything on it.
Plus you can replace things that you’ve already manifested with new desires!
The more you work with your manifestation board, the quicker it will work for you.
Six: It’s not the right format for you.
Vision boards aren’t the only way to manifest what you want.
If you’re not a visual person, writing or list methods might work better for you.
Or you might need something you can look at more often, from your phone or computer like an iphone vision board or pinterest manifestation board.
Experiment with different ideas and see what works best for you!
Anything you can believe in and get your energy behind will work.
So if you don’t feel connected to your physical vision board, try something else!
