The longer you hold the thought, the better because you’re holding it for at least 17 seconds!
Let’s get into how to use the 17 second manifestation method even more effectively!

17 Second Manifestation Technique in 5 Steps
Step one: Decide what you want.
This is always the first step of manifestation.
You get to decide what you want! But here’s the key: You have to concentrate on what you WANT, not what you DON’T WANT.
Let’s say you want to get your ex back.
You can’t concentrate on the ABSENCE of your ex. You have to concentrate on your ex being with you currently.
This is why the law of attraction doesn’t always “work” for people – if you’re focusing on what you don’t want, you get more of what you don’t want.
Instead, focus on what it would feel like if you were actually back together with your ex.
Think of a time you were together and happy.
That is what you want to focus on for the 17 seconds.
Step two: Sit somewhere where you can concentrate for a few minutes.
You can be doing something else, like driving or getting dressed in the morning.
But the key is that you want to be able to concentrate on what you want without being interrupted.
Step three: Think about what you want for 17 seconds.
You can set a timer if you want, or you can just practice holding the vibration for as long as possible.
Once you’ve held the thought for 17 seconds, the law of attraction will kick in and you’ll start feeling the feelings of having what you want.
More thoughts will join your first thought, and you’ll be in the vibration of what you want!
Step Four: Keep going!
Try to hold the vibration of what you want for at least 68 seconds (that’s just a little over a minute! You can do it!)
Feel the feelings of having what you want.
If we use the getting your ex back example: What would it feel like if your ex texted you right now and said they wanted to get back together? Feel those feelings!
If you start feeling amazing and want to keep going, you can even start a rampage of appreciation!
A rampage of appreciation is really just a bunch of statements that describe what you’re feeling when you receive what you want.
What would you say if you were telling your best friend exactly what happened?
Those are the types of statements you will make during your rampage.
You can repeat these things to yourself, describing them to yourself!
Feel the feelings of what you want happening right NOW.
Try to do this for at least 68 seconds.
OMG! You won’t believe what just happened! I just woke up and (ex’s name) had texted me! He/She/They just said they want to meet up tonight after work. They said they can’t wait to see me and talk about everything! I think they want to get back together! It’s going to be so perfect! (Describe what happened to yourself.) Etc, etc, keep going as long as you can!
Step Five: Let it go.
Once you have held the vibration for as long as possible, it’s time to let it go.
The Universe is working on your behalf and you are attracting what you want. Let go and trust the Universe!
How do you know the 17 second manifestation method is working?
If you have felt the feelings of having what you want for at least 17 seconds, it is working!
You can tell by the way you feel if you’ve done it correctly.
Do you feel like what you want actually happened?
Were you happy? Did you get excited and feel like it was happening?
If so, you did it correctly and it is working!
If you felt sad and felt like it wasn’t happening or it was never going to happen, you might have to start with something smaller.
For example, if you didn’t feel like your ex would actually want to get back together, maybe start with something else.
Maybe your ex just texted and said they missed you. Or that they were thinking of you.
How does that feel? Does that feel more believable?
If so, use that example instead and try again.
Keep testing different scenarios until you hit on one that is believable and that you can feel like it’s happening right NOW.
What if the 17 second manifestation technique didn’t work?
The important thing to remember is that it hasn’t worked yet.
It’s not that it didn’t work.
The law of attraction is ALWAYS working.
But when it comes to manifesting on purpose, sometimes you need to give it a bit more time.
It’s like adding a drop of water to a jar every day.
The first few drops may look like nothing, but after a few days, the water is going to keep adding up and eventually overflow.
By using the 17 second principle, you are training your vibration so you’re in the vibration of what you want.
Eventually, it’s going to add up and spill over into your life!
The more often you practice, the more drops of water you’re adding to the jar.
You can also ask yourself the following questions if it seems like the 17 second method didn’t work for you:
Have you made peace with your situation? Or are you still pushing against it?
Pushing against it means that you’re trying to get away from something, not going TOWARDS something.
Pushing against and focusing on what you don’t want will give you more of what you don’t want.
Nothing has gone wrong.
You are right where you’re supposed to be!
Did you believe you could have what you want?
Be honest with yourself.
If you think about what you want, can you see it happening?
If you continuously have the feeling that what you want isn’t going to happen, you might need to go through those thoughts and feelings one by one and disprove them to yourself.
Is it ultimately true that you can’t have what you want? NO! It’s never ultimately true.
Can you think of examples of people who’ve gotten what you want? If so, you can have it too!!
Do you still want it? Or would you rather have something else?
Again, be honest with yourself and focus on what you ACTUALLY want.
It’s okay if you don’t want what you thought you wanted.
Focus on what you actually want for the 17 seconds instead!
You can always change your mind.
Besides, you aren’t really fooling the Universe.
So be honest with yourself and work the technique on what you really want (no one has to know but you and the Universe!)
Tips to Make the 17 Second Manifestation Method Work:
Focus on only one thing at a time.
Even if you have more than one thing you want, focus on one thing at a time.
Focused attention for 17 seconds of pure thought is what activates the manifestation process.
Abraham calls holding the vibration for 68 seconds the “combustion point.”
It’s what causes the manifestation to spill over into the physical realm.
Concentrate on one thing at a time.
You can do the 17 second technique on different things throughout the day, but do one manifestation at a time.
Practice multiple times a day.
Throughout the day, feel the feelings of having what you want for as long as possible.
You can even set a timer on your phone and make a pact with yourself that you will stop what you’re doing and practice.
This will train your vibration faster and help you get into the habit of having what you want.
Stop checking the results.
Part of letting go and receiving is not checking the results.
When you plant a seed, you don’t dig it up every day to see if it’s sprouting.
The same is true with the law of attraction. Don’t dig up your seeds every day!
Feel the feelings of having what you want and trust that it’s coming.
Have fun with the process!
You can use any manifestation method that calls to you, as long as you can think pure, positive thoughts for at least 17 seconds.
Try a bunch of different ones if they sound fun to you! Make it a game.
Nothing is too big for the Universe.
The Universe wants to give you what you want! NOTHING is impossible to the Universe.
And there’s no one judging you for wanting what you want.
Always practice the 17 second technique with the knowledge that the Universe wants to give it to you.
If you are asking for something and judging yourself for wanting it, you are practicing conflicting vibrations and it will be harder for the Universe to give you what you’re asking for.
It’s okay to want what you want!

Don’t face “reality.”
Reality is only a result of past vibration. It can be changed.
But again, if you keep comparing your current reality to what you want, you’re focusing on past vibrations!
You’re digging up the seed.
Give “reality” a chance to catch up with your new vibration!
It’s okay to stop trying.
Sometimes you just need to give yourself a break.
If you find that you’re ruminating on the current reality too much, or you’re too focused on what you want not happening, take a break.
Trust that the Universe knows what you want.
Take your hands off of it and go do something fun!
The more fun and joy you have in your life, the faster and more easily the things you want will come to you.
That’s because “like attracts like.”
The more you can match what you want with your emotions, the more easily it will come!
