10 Ways to Create a Money Bowl (Money Bowl Spells that Work!)
Creating a money bowl can be a great way to call more wealth into your life.
Money bowls can be used as:
- Part of your wealth altar
- Placed in your home’s feng shui wealth area
- Created at the new year
- Created during the new moon
- Placed near your front door to attract abundance
- Used in your business or your workspace
- Used as part of a money spell
- Created any time your prosperity could use a boost!

Note: Most of these money bowls involve lighting a candle. Make sure nothing is touching the candle before lighting it and do not leave a lit candle unattended!
Money Bowl #1
Ingredients:
- Bowl or plate
- Rice and salt (salt is optional)
- Green, gold, or yellow candle
- Prosperity oil
- Money herbs and a cinnamon stick.
- Currency
- Crystals, trinkets, talismans
- Bay leaf with your intention written on it.
Basic steps:
Cleanse your materials using smoke or sound, or whatever you usually use for clearing energy.
Add the base materials, like rice and salt.
Dress your candle with prosperity oil/herbs/anything else you would like to use. Place it in the center.
Add your money. If using paper money, roll the money towards you before placing it in your bowl.
Add coins and talismans if you have them.
Add the cinnamon stick.
Add money crystals, like pyrite, green aventurine, citrine, and clear quartz.
Sprinkle with money herbs.
Light your candle and burn your bay leaf with the intention written on it.
Money Bowl #2
Ingredients:
- Bowl
- Rice
- Coins
- Currency
- Money oil
- 3 Cinnamon sticks
- Citrine
- Cinnamon
Basic Steps:
Clean your bowl physically and with smoke or sound.
Add some rice to the bottom of the bowl.
Add a few coins on top of the rice.
Add another layer of rice.
Add another layer of coins.
Continue adding layers until the bowl is full.
Anoint your paper currency with money oil.
Roll the paper money towards you, then place in the center of the bowl.
Place 3 cinnamon sticks around paper money.
Add your citrine crystal in front of the money.
Sprinkle with cinnamon.
It is done!
Money Bowl #3
Ingredients:
- Bowl
- Salt
- 2 Green candles
- Cinnamon sticks
- Orange slice
- Citrine
- Coins and paper money.
- Mint
- Dill
- Bay leaves
Basic Steps:
Cleanse your bowl.
Sprinkle salt into the bottom of the bowl.
Draw a money sign into the salt (or a money sigil)
Add two green candles.
Add your cinnamon stick.
Add the orange slice.
Add citrine.
Add coins and paper money.
Sprinkle with herbs and add your bay leaves.
Light the candles and speak money affirmations to yourself (affirmations are in the video!)

Ingredients:
- Bowl
- Salt
- Rice
- Cinnamon
- Dill
- Cloves
- Star anise
- Cinnamon sticks
- Bay leaves with intentions
- Money
- Abundance crystals
- Green candle
Basic Steps:
Use smoke to clear your bowl’s energy.
Add salt to bowl.
Add rice.
Sprinkle with herbs and mix together.
Add cinnamon sticks and bay leaves.
Add money and crystals.
Add candle to center of bowl.
Light the candle and let it burn all the way – be sure to not leave it unattended!

Money Bowl #5
Ingredients:
- Bowl
- 2 Bay leaves with money sigils on them.
- Rice
- Paper money and coins
- Petition paper with intentions on it
- Crystals
- Cloves
- Cinnamon
- Basil
Basic Steps:
Clean the bowl and use smoke to clear its energy.
Burn one bay leaf.
Drop the bay leaf into the bowl – watch it until it stops burning.
Add rice.
Add the other bay leaf.
Add paper money (rolled towards you) and coins.
Add your petition paper – you can roll it towards you and tie with green string if you want. Otherwise fold it towards you and place in the bowl.
Add crystals.
Add herbs.
It is done!

Ingredients:
- Bowl
- Rice
- Salt
- Cinnamon
- Ginger
- Basil
- Rosemary
- Thyme
- Cinnamon sticks
- Bay leaves with intentions
- Petition paper with goals
- Coins and paper currency
- Malachite crystal
- Green aventurine
- Citrine
- Peridot
- Clear quartz
- Green candle
Basic Steps:
Clean and then clear your bowl with smoke.
Add rice.
Add salt. Stir with intention.
Draw a sigil or money sign in the rice & salt mixture.
Sprinkle herbs over the top.
Add cinnamon sticks.
Add bay leaves with intentions written on them.
Fold petition paper towards you and place in the bowl.
Add coins and paper money.
Add crystals.
Add green candle to the center and light it (make sure flame is away from paper money!)

Ingredients:
- Bowl
- Cinnamon stick for cleansing.
- Rice
- Salt
- Green candle
- Money Oil
- Crystals
- Herbs: spearmint & cinnamon
- Money, coins, wealth items
- Magnet
Basic Steps:
Clean the bowl and clear with smoke. (This one was cleared with a burning cinnamon stick.)
Add rice and salt. Draw sigils into the mixture with your finger.
Add green candle to center.
Add a few drops of money oil.
Add crystals.
Sprinkle with herbs.
Add money (rolled towards you,) coins, and wealth items.
Add a magnet to attract abundance!
Light the candle (make sure it is not next to the paper money.)

How to Create a Money Bowl in a Jar
Ingredients:
- Small jar
- Salt
- Money rice
- Basil
- Cinnamon
- Star anise
- Citrine
- Mint
- Orange
- Thyme
- Chamomile
- Allspice
- Intention paper: infinity symbol & money rune
- Green candle
Basic Steps:
Clean and smoke cleanse the jar.
Add salt.
Add money rice.
Add herbs and crystals.
Fold petition paper towards you and add to the jar.
Close the jar.
Light green candle next to the jar to charge it.
It is done!

Ingredients:
- Bowl
- Salt
- Green money rice
- Bay leaves with money symbols and runes
- Paper currency
- Coins
- Green aventurine
- Pyrite
- Green candle
- Star anise
- Cloves
- Money oil

Basic Steps:
Clean and cleanse the bowl.
Add salt and rice and mix well.
Add bay leaves.
Roll paper money towards you and add to bowl.
Add coins and crystals.
Add green candle to center (away from paper money)
Add star anise, cloves, and cinnamon sticks.
Anoint candle with money oil.
Light the candle.
